The story
In short terms, it is a story about two characters, each representing an idea. Notions of life, death, creation, love, time, music, dance, and eternity are conveyed through delicate characteristics of each character; thus connect to different meanings. Visualized in an abstracted way, following natural order and of existence. In general, one of the characters represents the environment, Mother Nature, for a higher ersatz of balance and harmony of our universe, in which everything is in ongoing change. This is showed in the final ceremony of the other characters death. The reborn die again, everything changes into another form of existence and nothing disappears. The other character represents the contempt and hateful thinking of human kind. Whenever it reaches the natural laws and the concepts of mortality; by destructing the rules of nature and following the negatively channeled intuitions and desires of our needs. There is a balance between the two characters, which is appended from a simple unity into a duality of form (for example, the palette and the brush). Elements handed to the opposites which may be thought of as paradoxical, unifying the characters as one major entity, that belongs to the same cosmic order unit. Respective to the painting of the cherry, the underlying message was inspired by concepts of art, which we flipped. We strived to touch on different criteria and resources, which we have learned from our prestigious mentors, and other literary sources. Plato once stated, "Art is an imitation of reality". This makes one think that reality is more important than art itself. As shown in the stop motion, by virtually painting the cherry, nature is created out of art. In other words, We may let art lead in the creation of nature and our behavioral patterns , for it may lend grace to the external conditions of our life and be as genuine until it liberate us of our negative instinct of survival.
